About
We dug one room and furnished it properly.
Gameburrow began as an argument about scale. One of us wanted a library of fifty social slots. The other pointed out that nobody has ever loved fifty of anything. The second opinion won, and what is left is a single machine in a warm room, which is roughly what we wanted to make in the first place.
The brand grew out of that decision. A burrow is small on purpose: low ceiling, soft walls, one lamp doing all the work. You do not wander around a burrow looking for something better in the next hall. You sit down. Everything on this site — the rounded arches, the terracotta and lantern colours, the thin root lines that run between sections — is trying to say that before you read a word of it.
The game we actually built
The Acorn Vault is a three-reel slot with one payline and six symbols, and it works the way a slot is supposed to work. A weighted strip decides how often each symbol shows up, the browser's random generator picks where each reel stops, and a published paytable turns the result into a number. We wrote the paytable down on the game page because a paytable you cannot read is not really a paytable.
There is no server behind any of this. Your coin pouch lives in the page you have open and nowhere else, which means we could not tilt a spin in your favour or against it even if we wanted to. It also means we hold nothing of yours when you leave.
What Gameburrow is not
It is not a gambling site. No money is wagered, no money is won, and no virtual coin on this site can be purchased with real currency or turned back into one. There is no shop, no bundle, no premium pouch, no checkout. When the coins run out, a button gives you more for nothing, which is about as clear a statement of intent as we can make.
We also do not claim that spinning here teaches you anything transferable. Success in a free social game says nothing about how any real-money activity would go, and we would rather say that plainly than bury it in a footer nobody reads — although it is in the footer too.
Who it is for
Adults, aged 18 or over, who want fifteen unhurried minutes and a small satisfying animation at the end of each one. The site is written for a general audience rather than any particular country, and we deliberately avoid pointing readers at one nation's rules or services, because a visitor from somewhere else would be none the wiser for it. Our responsible play notes are written the same way: general, practical, and applicable wherever you happen to be sitting.
Getting hold of us
Gameburrow is run by a small independent team that builds and maintains the site itself. Questions, bug reports, odd behaviour on an unusual browser, or a note telling us the lantern is too orange — all of it is welcome through the support page, and a person reads every message.
